Salicylic serum contains beta hydroxy acid drawn from willow bark and salicylic acid which penetrates into the pores and exfoliates skin cells wile reducing inflammation. This helps imrove the skin, unclog your pores and prevents breakouts.

How often should i use salicylic acid ? 

Use salicylic acid on your skin atleast 2-3 times a week but it is also inportant to follow the products instructions and adjust the usage depending on your clients skin type.

How do i incorprate salicylic serum into my skin care routine?

Make sure you use a cleanser and toner before applying the salicylic acid and then follow with a moisturiser.

Are there any side effects to using salicylic acid serum ?

Salicylic acid can cause redness, irriation and dryness depending on your skin type, if your clients have sensetive skin you are advised to use a small amount and gradually increase the usage each appointment.

Can salicylic acid be used on your clients body acne?

 Yes, you can apply salicylic acid on body acne while keeping away from the eyes, sunburn or any open wounds as this will cause irritation.

Apply a small amount of the product onto a clean area of skin on the upper forearm and keep the area dry. After 24 hours rinse the area, If any redness, burning, itching, blistering or irritation is observed at any time throughout the test, do not use the product.
